Scott, Bowers, Day and Nelson left this morning for Hut Point. The weather was quite good, although a cold wind from the northeast was blowing.

The whole morning and a good deal of the afternoon I passed with Teddy. We nearly surveyed ourselves to death for there was more than 20°C of frost.
